Nothing fanstastic to say about this hotel except that it is a good value for money with respect to its good loaction closed to the centre of Oslo, and at walking distance from the central train station (Oslo s). Quality of the hotel and its services are rather basic/oldfashioned, but there is nothing to really complain about!
Pretty basic breakfast. Free WiFi not working in all rooms.

The breakfast was great, especially when food is so expensive in Oslo!
No towel provided but only 10nok hire which isn't too bad.

close to train station
Wifi room was awkward and created a poor atmosphere in the common room, wifi should be throughout hotel. After charging for the room, seemed ridiculous to charge an additional small amount for the towel service, should be included.

The staff was very friendly and helpful
It isn't really a hotel, it is a hostel and should advertise it that way. Breakfast was just a piece of bread with butter and coffee.

The personal was nice. The room was cleaned and good smelling and the place is perfect, because is so close to the city center.
I have not complaints for the hotel. The rate price / quality is the best one.

I liked the lounge, it was comfy; the people at the front desk were really nice. The room was totally functional and I met some interesting people.

Central location, young people, nice personnel, good food.
I missed the wireless Internet in the rooms...it was OK to go to the TV room, but when I needed to concentrate, it was a lot of noise around.

You simply get what you've booked - a bed in a 4-bed room. I guess there is enough place for everyone's luggage - though in my case other guests were a kind of backpackers too. The location is great for a sightseeing in Oslo. The breakfast is good and various.
You don't have wi-fi in the room, only in a special room. When traveling to Oslo, make sure you do it in right time - both 2 days I've been there it was raining, and people said it had been raining before for a whole week. The price is very high (compared to other european countries), but one of the cheapest you could find in Oslo.

Location is perfect for getting around Oslo by public transportation, to Bygdøy by boat taxi, and to the waterfront. A quiet neighborhood (except for comment, see next). Modestly priced ( for Oslo) and eating there is easy and also affordable. Staff is consistently kind and helpful. Rooms are clean, though small, and totally adequate.
While the neighborhood is quiet, on weekends young people who have had too much to drink get quite loud in the street in front of the hotel (Øvre Slottsgata) and stay that way into the wee hours, anytime of year but especially in summer. If you want to be out of range of this, request a room away from that street. Then everything will be fine.
